A parked, switched-off vehicle or piece of machinery may be used solely as a suitable stationary anchor point — for example, an appropriate utility tray rail, rated attachment point or other secure anchoring location.

Appropriate judgement should always be used during assisted calvings, including recognising when veterinary intervention is required.
